Your Privacy Matters

Privacy Policy

Pacific Mobile Mechanic respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Effective: January 1, 2025 Last updated: October 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Pacific Mobile Mechanic ("Pacific," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit pacificmobilemechanic.com (the "Site"), contact us by phone, submit a form, or receive services from us.

By using the Site or providing us with your information, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you request a quote, submit a contact form, apply for fleet or nonprofit partnership, or call us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and mailing or service address.
  • Vehicle details — year, make, model, VIN, mileage, license plate, and a description of the problem or service requested.
  • Service and billing records — repair estimates, invoices, payment status, and warranty history.
  • Business information — for fleet and nonprofit inquiries, your company or organization name, title, and vehicle count.
  • Any other details you choose to include in a message, upload, or chat conversation with us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information when you visit, including:

  • IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
  • Browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, time on page, referring URL, and links clicked
  • Cookie and similar tracking identifiers (see Section 5)

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to run our business and serve you well. Specifically, we use it to:

Prepare estimates and quotes for the repairs or services you request

Schedule, perform, and follow up on service — including mobile and emergency calls

Respond to your questions, feedback, and warranty claims

Process billing, payments, and maintain service and warranty records

Understand how the Site is used so we can improve it

Prevent fraud, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations

With your consent where required, we may also send you service reminders or occasional offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time (see Section 8).

4. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited circumstances below:

Service providers

Companies that help us operate — such as website hosting, scheduling software, payment processors, towing partners, and parts suppliers — who only receive what they need to perform their service for us.

Financing partners

If you apply for financing through Synchrony Car Care, the information you submit goes directly to Synchrony and is governed by their own privacy and credit policies. We do not receive or store your credit application details.

Legal and safety requirements

When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Pacific, our customers, or the public.

Business transfers

If Pacific is merged, acquired, or sells substantially all of its assets, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, and third-party tools such as Google Analytics, to:

  • Keep the Site working properly and remember basic preferences
  • Measure traffic and understand which pages and services people find useful
  • Improve our marketing so we reach the right local customers

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some parts of the Site work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics measurement using Google's browser add-on.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold — including encrypted connections on the Site and limiting access to employees and providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, full card numbers, or driver's license images through website forms.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide service, support warranty claims, meet tax and recordkeeping requirements, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. Retention periods vary depending on the type of record — for example, repair invoices and warranty history must generally be kept longer than a website inquiry.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete information we no longer need, subject to legal and warranty record requirements
  • Opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right

To make a request, email sales@pacificmobilemechanic.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" or call (509) 472-4369. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Calls, Texts & Email

When you provide your phone number or email address, you consent to us contacting you about your inquiry, quote, or service — including by call or text message. Message and data rates may apply.

You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP, opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the message, or simply tell us on the phone. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from contacting you about an active repair, a warranty claim, or an emergency you reported.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to third-party websites and tools — such as Google Maps, Synchrony, social media platforms, and our scheduling and chat providers. Those services operate under their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
